I would like to know the answer to that very question in fact. But seeing as there is no 'Guide to Lily Mae' in the vicinity, I will have to ramble on till I find a deeper meaning to myself without the aid of a glossary or an index, neither of which would help in any case.
So, what is a seventeen year old doing blogging on the web? I find myself asking...myself. I would love to be able to express how I feel on a blank page to an invisible audience, however I can't even see it on my 'brain screen'. Furthermore, I don't really think a blog encompassing my troubled teenage angst against the world and bitterness towards, oh, inumerable things would make interesting reading. So I will write about a new cafe that I discovered today with Rachel.
'The Boston Tea Party', beginning with an incredible name, contained copious amounts of rather large cakes, teas, coffees, and general 'cafe' neccessities, including great big, comfy, leather sofas, which, in my mind, are essential. Rachel and I stumbled across this magical cafe (which is open until seven on a Sunday...I had even said not ten minutes before that we needed a coffee shop that did just that) whilst strolling the streets of Worcester after a rather greasy dominoes. We found ribena-coloured tea, rainbow cupcakes and ginger beer, much to our delight, in full supply amongst the other goodies on display. After claiming the great big, comfy, leather sofas for our own, not that we took them home, we gazed toward to the ceiling to find an Amelia Earhart style aeroplane in flight mode above our heads. This yellow wonder added to the atmosphere and prompted Rachel to exclaim 'I think this must be what America feels like!', I highly doubt that.
Considering I had eaten a pizza AND a dominoes waffle, I consider it a great achievement that i managed to wolf down a giant cupcake, complete with mountain of icing.
Now I have little to say, other than I am in love...with a cafe.
Till next time.

Although, sadly, Rachel did not manage to consume her entire cupcake. It was AMAZING though. I even met an old friend... and yes, this was a proper tea shop, rather than a filter coffee rubbish shop. Costa eat your heart out.
